Deployment Opportunities

Civilian experts on the ASC roster may be called upon to support a range of African Union and regional peace support operations across the continent. Deployment opportunities arise based on specific mission needs and are aligned with the skills, experience and availability of rostered personnel. These assignments may include roles in political affairs, human rights, civil affairs, rule of law, logistics, gender and other key areas critical to peacebuilding and conflict resolution. While being on the roster does not guarantee deployment, it positions experts for consideration when suitable opportunities emerge.
