You can register for the African Standby Capacity (ASC) via the ASCdatase if you meet the minimum entry standards and criteria. Please note that upon registration you will be asked to choose between an application for Peace Support Operations (PSOs), the Mediation Capacity and the Post-Conflict Reconstruction and Development Capacity. At this time, it is only possible to apply for one of these three capacities for the ASC. Once your application is successful and you are an ASC member, it might be possible to be assigned to operations other than those that you applied for.
